You may remember this lovely family from their maternity session a while back.  Click here to take a look! They were super cute and big sister was so excited to meet her new little sister!   Miss K was super cute and cooperated like a super model for me during her session!  We used hats, headbands, a whole variety of blankets and even took some family photos with the little newborn.  I have been told that big sister is still loving having her little sis around and even volunteers to changes diapers once in a while!

Little Miss C visited my studio in Langley on the weekend but we only got ONE shot of her the whole time she was there! Yup she was being a little stinker and wouldn’t stop moving and absolutely would NOT sleep! So I had her lovely mommy bring her back yesterday for us to try again.  Well I gather she was up all morning fussing for her mom but right before the session she nursed and was put into her carseat with only her diaper on.  After the short car ride to the studio she was asleep and ready for me to work my newborn posing on her!

Little Miss C didn’t wake up once the entire session and allowed me to change her headband and hat and blanket multiple times.  I was probably the happiest newborn photographer in all of Vancouver yesterday when I opened the images on my computer!  I sat up last night editing instead of doing my laundry just because I was so excited about the images!

I headed to the studio with the kids this morning as I needed to tidy and put together a new octobox for my lights that has been sitting around for over a year!!!! Yup crazy that I hadn’t put it onto my light yet but now that I have I am IN LOVE!!!  I bribed the kids with chocolate and managed to get a few gorgeous photos of them. Mollie had found an old chinese parasol that I got at Expo 86 and decided to incorporate it into a whole mini asian inspired session!  My little shy girl is apparently turning into a model!

I first met Miss E’s Mommy and Daddy when we did their maternity shoot in the snow at Kanaka Creek Park.  The session was just beautiful! I couldn’t wait to meet their little girl and she certainly didn’t disappoint in the cuteness department!  We were able to do a ton of different set ups and even had Miss E’s cousins come in and snapped a few photos with all three girls too!

This little sweetie was born on Christmas Day! Her lucky mommy and daddy got a WONDERFUL Christmas present!  She was such a squishy little gal and I loved posing her to get the little rolls that are so adorable on a newborn.  She came into the studio right after the New Year and she had some great little headbands that her mommy had shopped for on Etsy.  If you are ever wondering where I get so many of the cute things I use on a newborn it is from there! Go and check it out and I guarantee you will see countless things you want to buy.  The great part is that they are all home made and not produced in mass quantities so you are supporting small businesses or stay at home moms.

I had first met this little man at his newborn session and was so surprised when he got out of the car with his mommy and daddy looking like such a little boy!  Mom had done a fantastic job finding cute outfits and they were all in coordinating colours and patterns which means making a wall gallery with them later will be a breeze.  She really thought through what she wanted to use the photos for and made sure that we captured the look she was after!

Less than two years ago I did the newborn photos for this little princess’ older brother. And a year before that I did the wedding photos for their mommy and daddy!  I love this sweet little family and was so glad that they came back to me when they had their little girl.  There is nothing I love more than watching my families grow over the years.  This little lady is being welcomed into an extremely loving extended family and I am sure be spoiled by everyone!
