I just got off of the phone with a beautiful mommy to be who booked me for a maternity session.  I was trying to explain to her about what to bring for an indoor studio session and I am certain she must have thought she was signing up for a boudoir session given my talk of underwear and bras and scarves as accessories!  I promised her I would put some more photos up for her tonight so here they are!  Maternity sessions are all about the gorgeous mommy and baby bump so that is what the focus is.  I also promise all my maternity clients that I will remove all stretch marks too so no need to be worried about that.

I was looking through all of the sessions I had last fall and came across this fall session with S & R.  We lucked out on the weather for their maternity session at the little park close to my studio in Langley.  It was a GORGEOUS sunny and crisp morning!  The fall leaves were out and yet it was still sunny and not too cold.  We did a couple of outfit changes and moved around the park for several different set ups.  It truly was a relaxed and calm shoot.  I have since done their little man’s newborn photos and will hopefully see them again soon for updated pictures of him!  Now on to the images!

This beautiful mommy to be was a lovely volunteer when I mentored with Glow Portraits this past weekend.  She was stunning and happily stood nice and still for us while we fiddled with settings to get the look we wanted.  Her gorgeous round tummy was just perfect for these semi nude pregnancy photos.  I am sure that her much anticipated newborn will be just as stunning as her!

I have fallen a bit behind on the blogging due to the holiday season. Actually lets be honest I have fallen ALOT behind!!! I have sessions from the end of October I still haven’t blogged! So get ready for several posts a week as I need to play catch up!

This lovely couple is due to have their little one in the next few weeks and I am extremely excited as mom and dad are just gorgeous! They were gracious enough to head out to my neck of the woods so we could take some lovely winter photos at Kanaka Creek Park.  It was the perfect day with a dusting of snow and not too cold.

So as the year comes to a close I have been seeing many fellow photographers post summaries of the sessions they have done throughout the year.  I decided to go back and count the number of newborns I have photographed and was surprised to see it was a whopping 34!!!!  I have been so blessed to have these little babies come into my studios in Langley.  I hope you enjoy these collages as much as I do!

If you have been following the blog for any length of time you will remember this GORGEOUS momma! She first came to me for the maternity photos with her little girl and then for newborn photos, 7 month photos, her first birthday celebration and extended family photos.  Now she is back with her second baby bump and I am so excited to meet her next little one! If they are anything at all like their big sister they are going to be CUTE CUTE CUTE!!! Thanks for meeting me at one of my favorite little hidden parks in Surrey – I think we accomplished the fall look you were going for!

I have known this gorgeous momma for 8 years now.  I was a leader for a group of Girl Guides that went to England and Scotland and she was one of my wonderful “girls”.  We had a blast on the trip and I knew that her maternity session would be full of laughs and fun too!  Her older daughter was so excited and posed for every picture with a beautiful smile.  I can’t wait for her baby sister to arrive so she can be showered with love too!

The lovely block letters that were used to spell out the baby’s name were lovingly made by this mommy!  She is selling them for $2 a block and will work with you to customize the blocks to suit your little ones nursery.  Contact her via her facebook.
