Cake Smash of Little Mr. D – Maple Ridge, Surrey, Langley Baby Photography

I took Mr {D}’s photos as a newborn but he hadn’t been back since then.  I was very excited when his mommy contacted me to do a one year portrait/cake smash!  What a good natured little guy he is! He LOVED the cupcake his mommy brought for him!  Look at the mess he made!!!

Urban Maternity – Maple Ridge, Surrey, Langley Maternity Photography

After the studio session with {M} I arranged an urban outdoor session for a bit of a change.  {M} and my cousin live right in downtown Vancouver and I thought it would be very cool to take some photos close to where they live.  They suggested graffiti alley by Gastown and so after {J} got [...]
 

After the studio session with {M} I arranged an urban outdoor session for a bit of a change.  {M} and my cousin live right in downtown Vancouver and I thought it would be very cool to take some photos close to where they live.  They suggested graffiti alley by Gastown and so after {J} got done work one evening we headed over.  The work of the graffiti artists is absolutely stunning and if you get the chance I would highly recommend checking the alley out!  It made for a great backdrop!  It was actually suprisingly clean given that it was an alley in Vancouver that close to the downtown eastside.  I even climbed up onto a dumpster for a few shots!

I’m also happy to update that M and J had their little bundle of joy just the other day!  Little baby Jean!  Welcome to the world little girl!

This family came to me all the way from the Cayman Islands to do a session . . . well not exactly just to do a session LOL!!!  I was contacted by {M}’s sister who wanted to set up a session for her two nephews and her sister and brother in law when they came for a visit.  We arranged a date and had lovely weather for the session.  The two little boys were such dolls!  You are very lucky you guys!

{T} is also a photographer and so I was thrilled when she asked me to do her family photos.  She was well aware of what it takes to get a toddler smiling and brought a whole assortment of props as well as a very enthusiastic grandma to get her little girl to smile!  The last session I had with her little girl {B} was a cake smash which she was not at all happy about so it was nice to see her in more of her normal mood!  We went to the beautiful old heritage shipyards in Steveston.  The lighting was GORGEOUS!!!
